Patrick and LibDems are campaigning to ensure our schools get fair funding.

Tory run North Somerset Council is no longer providing support to maintained schools—including Blagdon Primary—as the effects of Conservative cuts to the Education Support Grant are felt.

There is now less than  £20k in the fund to support 21 schools across the district, and no staff members to support school improvement. This means schools are struggling to pay for vital services out of their own  tight budgets.

Liberal Democrats believe that every child deserves an excellent education and are demanding that our teachers get the funding they deserve.
