Great news from Brecon and Radnorshire last night, as the LibDem candidate Jane Dodds seized the Parliamentary seat from the Tories. Jane’s win shows that our positive liberal message is resonating with voters.

Our victory in Wales has sent a message to Boris Johnson that there is no support for his reckless hard Brexit plans and that the people demand better for the country.

This LibDem win also shows that there is no such thing as a safe Tory seat. Last night’s victory gives me further hope that – with hard work and the support of our members and supporters – we can win here in Weston super Mare, Worle and the Villages.

With the Government’s majority reduced to one, and politics more chaotic than ever, we need to be ready for anything.
