I’ve challenged the Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner regarding the redeployment of the beat officer covering the Blagdon and Churchill Ward.

With a growing population and a number of anti-social behaviour and burglary issues, residents are concerned by the reduction in police coverage.

I have asked the PCC to review the situation and to ensure that the villages receive the police support they need – and that rural communities are not forgotten if the government promise of new police officers is delivered.
